The two-seater impresses visually with a spectacular widebody made from carbon and high-tech forged wheels in a staggered 20/21-inch combination developed specifically for this vehicle.
A supercharged version of the 5.2-liter V10 engine rated at around 633 kW / 860 hp is currently under custom-development for the NOVITEC TORADO N-LARGO.
The NOVITEC TORADO N-LARGO measures 204 centimeters in width at the rear axle or 12 centimeters more than the production car. The widebody version sets itself apart from the masses not only due to this extreme. In cooperation with renowned designer Vittorio Strosek, NOVITEC TORADO created a carbon designer outfit for the Lamborghini Huracan that achieves a perfect blend of thrilling styling and maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
The company developed strikingly styled flares for the rear fenders seamlessly bonded to the production body. The wheel wells on both sides are lined with precisely fitting inner liners and are each six centimeters wider, thereby creating space for the NL2 wheels custom-developed for the NOVITEC TORADO N-LARGO. The use of high-tech forging manufacturing technology results in these alloys offering an outstanding blend of lightweight construction and strength. Especially on the rear axle, the widebody version permits designing an extremely concave wheel spider with five delicately shaped double spokes. The wheels of size 12.5Jx21 make full use of the newly created space and are mounted with Pirelli P ZERO high-performance tires of size 325/25 ZR 21.
In concert with the new N-LARGO front fenders, which replace the production components, the Huracan not only sports a front that is six centimeters wider, but also a striking wasp waist. Another stylistic trick is the use of 20-inch forged wheels on the front axle, which in combination with the larger 21-inch rear wheels emphasize the wedge shape of the two-seater even more. The nine-inch-wide wheels also feature a concave center section and are mounted with high-performance tires of size 245/30 ZR 20.
The N-LARGO rocker panels create a perfect transition between the wider fenders and are fitted with integrated brake cooling ducts that route the relative wind to the rear discs and calipers.
The professional development of efficient aerodynamic-enhancement components for a sports car as fast as the NOVITEC TORADO N-LARGO is only possible with elaborate wind tunnel testing. The focus was in particular on the new front and rear bumpers, which replace their production counterparts, and on the rear airfoil.
The shape of the front bumper lends the car a markedly aggressive front appearance and perfectly transitions into the wider front fenders. What is more: In combination with the central front blade, which is optionally available with a naked carbon finish, the design optimized in the wind tunnel reduces aerodynamic lift for further improved handling stability. The new trunk lid with integrated air ducts also plays a role in the NOVITEC TORADO aerodynamic-enhancement concept.
The combination of rear airfoil and diffuser in the N-LARGO rear bumper provides a perfect aerodynamic balance. Both components are also optionally available with a naked carbon finish.
Other attractive carbon components for a full-blooded racing look are the NOVITEC TORADO hood and the side air intakes aft of the doors. Both components optimize the flow of air into the engine bay. The covers for the side mirrors and the surrounds of the tail lamps are also made from this high-tech material.
To round off the spectacular looks, sports springs can lower the ride height of the NOVITEC TORADO N-LARGO by about 35 millimeters. Huracan drivers desiring even sportier damper settings will be able to opt for a height-adjustable coilover suspension in the near future.
This means the mid-engine sports car is optimally prepared for significantly more power. The engine specialists of the German tuner are currently at work on an equally powerful and durable supercharged version of the 5.2-liter ten-cylinder engine. With a rated output of about 633 kW / 860 hp and a peak torque in the 960 Nm range, the supercharged version of the NOVITEC TORADO N-LARGO will launch itself into the league of the world’s most powerful super sports cars.
Already available today for the Huracan are the NOVITEC TORADO high-performance exhaust systems, which come in two especially lightweight versions made from INCONEL, a material also used in Formula 1 racing. This exhaust system is precisely calibrated to the engine and just like the stainless-steel version of the sports exhaust is available with or without sound management by means of controlled butterfly valves. All NOVITEC TORADO exhaust systems also optimize the sound and performance of the Lamborghini’s stock engine.
Of course, a NOVITEC TORADO N-LARGO can also be fully customized in the cockpit to his or her new owner’s preferences. To this end, the company offers a selection of the finest leathers and Alcantara in any desired color.
The NOVITEC TORADO N-LARGO can be ordered as a complete car or be built based on an existing Lamborghini Huracan Coupe.
